Take-up CLAT to become a lawyer! - 26-Apr-2021

Students willing to study law in the countrys leading educational institution need to write the CLAT, Common Law Admission Test.

Admissions in 22 National Law University (NLU) and in 40 other institutions across the nation are carried out through scores obtained in CLAT.  To join UG studies, students are to write CLAT-UG and those joining PG studies need to write CLAT-PG.

Programmes: LLB., LLM


Eligibility: Applicant should have cleared plus two with minimum 45% to apply for UG programme, LLB. To apply for PG programme, should have scored a minimum of 55% in LLB or B.L. However, SC/ ST candidates are given a waiver of 5% marks in both the studies. 




There is no age limit to appear for CLAT.



About the Exam:  Questions would be asked to test the candidates English, General Knowledge, Mathematics and Legal Aptitude. CLAT UG comprises 150 objective type questions and CLAT-PG comprises 100 objective type questions.
