PSG students go on protest over excess fee collection- 3-Jul-2014
Coimbatore: Nearly 800 students of PSG College of Arts and Science today staged dharna inside the campus protesting against the management for allegedly collecting more fees than stipulated by the Government for aided courses.
The students, including girls, squatted in the campus near the entrance and raised slogans against the management for allegedly collecting excess fees from the students joining aided course, for which the Government has stipulated the fees, police said.
The students withdrew their agitation, after the representaives of the management met and assured them to look into the issue on Monday, after constituting a committee, they said.
