Therefore, more job opportunities are available in this industry. The Foreign Trade Development Centre (FTDC) in association with Sikkim Manipal University (SMU) has introduced a Six Month Certificate Programme in Export-Import.
It is offered as online studies. The course helps to learn the practical aspects of export and import, finance, sales, international trading laws, business development and documentation. The course also provides classroom training and case study.
In short, the course not only helps the beginner to enter export-import trade but also makes the current practitioner, experts in handling various facets of exports and imports trade. The duration of the course is six months. The fee for the course is Rs 25, 000/-. Those who have completed plus two can take up this course. Persons completing this course can get an annual salary between Rs 1 Lakhs to Rs 3 Lakhs.
