AI, known as Artificial Intelligence is the ability of a machine or software that we use to simulate human intelligence and act according to the commands given to it. 

Significance: 

Machines, which have usurped human physical labour, have now begun to capture mankind�s brain labour with the help of computer technology. Right from mobile phones to self-driven automatic vehicles, we are already drawn into the application power of Artificial Intelligence.

From the navigation application like Google Maps which accurately predicts the traffic jams of the roads, Alexa which listens and responds to commands, and Google Voice are all driven through the technology known as Artificial Intelligence! 

The central government's 'Niti Aayog' has recommended the implementation of AI in the fields such as Education,  Medicine,  Infrastructure,  Transport and Agriculture!

'Artificial Intelligence' is already placed its foot firm in private sectors including vehicle manufacturing, software, drone manufacturing and financial consultancy!

Courses: 

Artificial Intelligence technology will take center stage in the coming days. Along with basic Computer Science Engineering, studies like Deep Learning,  Machine Learning etc. will pave the way for the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Those completing  Mechanical,  Electronics  Communication,  Computer Science engineering courses at the undergraduate level can study 'Robotics Artificial Intelligence' course at Masters's level. Many educational institutes also offer this as a postgraduate diploma course.
