The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Brunei invites Indian students to pursue their education at selected institutions in the country by providing scholarships across various academic levels, including Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate studies.

Seri Begawan University College of Education

Brunei Polytechnic

Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must be Indian citizens, with age limits of under 25 for admission to undergraduate and diploma courses, and under 35 for postgraduate courses. A proficiency score of 6.0 on the IELTS English test or a minimum of 550 on the Doppel test is required. Detailed information about courses and qualifications can be found on the respective educational institute's website.

Scholarship Coverage: The scholarship covers tuition fees, examination fees, and round-trip air travel costs to and from Brunei. Additionally, the government provides a monthly stipend of around Rs 31,000 for personal expenses, Rs 9,000 per month for food, and Rs 10,000 annually for books. Selected students also enjoy various benefits, including a sum of 37 thousand as part of this scholarship scheme.

Application Procedure: Interested candidates should apply through the official website of the respective educational institution, submitting necessary documents such as birth certificates, passports, and college/university certificates.

Application Deadline: The last date to apply is February 15th.
