IFS 2008 Result: UPSC-
New Delhi: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the result of the Indian Forests Service Examination (IFS), 2008, held in July 2008.
The list contains 84 candidates, including 33 belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBC), 14 to the Scheduled Castes (SCs) and 06 to the Scheduled Tribes (STs).
According to the number of vacancies available the Government will make appointment to the Service. The number of vacancies is 85 as announced by government.
The candidature of nine candidates with Roll No. 000919, 005255, 006922, 011562, 012783, 014981, 015065, 020060 and 030545 is provisional.
UPSC has a ''Facilitation Counter'' near Examination Hall in its campus.
