Indian students are attracted by the foreign universities. Those who believe that studying in a foreign country could obtain new jobs need to be very careful.

Every year, thousands of students go abroad for UG, PG studies in the months of July- August. For this, they start preparing long time back. In India, the students who complete plus two mostly prefer MBBS as the first option of higher studies till today. The seats in India are very less and the applicants are very high.

Amidst this situation, MBBS course is offered in several foreign universities and colleges. Among these institutions, few advertise promising to provide training in American hospitals. Some of the education counselors advice to take up six year MBBS course at the Universities in Costa Rica.

Believing their words many students go and study there. If they happen to get good marks, they are sent to hospitals in America for training. For which, they need a visa to go to America. Hence, they come back to India after four years to obtain a visa. But, it is not a guarantee that they would get a visa. The Indian Medical Society does not recognize this four-year study. As a result, the students hard work and money gets wasted and they are not allowed to practice medicine here in India. This is the same situation to students who study in few medical colleges of countries like Mauritius, West Indies, Nepal and Russia.

Those willing to do management courses in the B-schools of America also need to be very careful. They also are likely to get deceived just like the medical aspirants. Rules are very tough to obtain students visa to go to America. Making use of this situation, some brokers promise to get visa and admission in some colleges and get money from the students. However, obtaining a visa is not a guarantee. The Ministry of Human Resource Department can give some tips on their website to prevent these types of frauds
