Student dies after being assaulted by classmates- 18-Feb-2017
Greater Noida: A 12th standard student died at a hospital after he was allegedly thrashed by his classmates in Jewar area near here, following which four persons were booked in a murder case, police said.
Bhim Singh, a resident of Nimka village, has complained alleging that his son Nakul was attacked with sticks by four of his classmates on February 14 while he was returning from school, Jewar DSP Dilip Singh said.
Nakul was critically injured and fell unconscious in the alleged attack and was rushed to Kailash hospital in Jewar but later referred to Noida where he died today, he said.
Based on the complaint a case of murder was registered against Akash, Sonu and two others and hunt is on for them as they have been absconding after the incident.
