Examination fear starts creeping at the advent of February and eases only after April. This intrinsic examination fear / stress leads to more mental stress. Right from the examination commencing months about 70 per cent of the students go through severe mental stress, a recent study revealed.

Thought of appearing for an exam is not the lone reason for examination fear. Successful completion of exams, exam results, securing good cut off marks for professional colleges are some of the reason that give students a feeling of standing in the battle front.    

Although, the above said reasons cannot be avoided, but can be controlled. 

Different ways to avoid mental stress during examination times:

 Eat healthy food.

 Take enough rest.

 Increase your intake of fruits, vegetables and greens .

 Do little bit of exercise or yoga.

 Think positive.

 While studying, study with good concentration.

 Reduce watching television.

 Discuss with your friends the lessons you have studied.

 Finish studying an hour before sleeping.

 Think twice before taking a crucial decision

 It is good to study early in the morning.


Following the above-mentioned tips will help to ease down during examination times and facilitate to reduce mental stress to perform better in the examination.
