IGNOU to launch telecentre management certificate course - 8-Feb-2010
New Delhi: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will soon launch a certificate programme in 'telecentre management' which will be made available in 10 Indian and 10 international languages.
Announcing the decision, Pro Vice Chancellor of IGNOU Latha Pillai said the 10-module certificate programme has been designed for those already working in telecentres or interested in setting up such centres.
It will also be helpful for people interested in the use of information and communication technologies for developmental programmes. IGNOU public relations officer Ravi Mohan said the certificate programme will encompass various aspects of telecommunication network and help in improving functioning of telecentres where people access internet and other facilities.
