Sathish Kumar- (Plus 2 first rank in Tiruppur District) - 2010-
Sathish Kumar, a student of Ponnu Matriculation Higher Secondary, Tharapuram, Tiruppur Revenue district, scored 1,176 marks in the plus two exams.
He scored 200 in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Computer Science. With 186 in Tamil, 190-English, 200- Physics, 200-Chemistry, 200-Mathmetics and 200 in Computer Science, he has obtained a total of 1,176.
In tenth standard public examination too, he had obtained second rank in then Erode District examination getting 481 marks.
Student Sathish told, "Everyday, I used to study for 4 hours without fail. I used to study the entire lesson, apart from studying important answers. Without memorising the entire lesson, only if you understand and study it would be possible to obtain full marks. I am going study BE. Aeronautical Engineering. My aim is to become a scientist in that field. My parents are into agriculture. Although they are not educated, they encouraged me to study".
