Indian Institute of Carpet technology (IICT) is functional at Bhadohi in Uttar Pradesh . This is the only educational institution in Asia, specialized in providing subjects regarding Carpet Manufacturing Technology.

This educational institution started in the year 2001, functions under the Ministry of Textile industry. It is linked with UP Technical University in Lucknow. This educational institution has obtained recognition from Textile Institution of Manchester in Britain.

This institution is involved in human resource development, research and development, technical support and activities related to design making. This education institution is situated in an expanse of 10-acres land and in a quiet atmosphere. Separate hostels are available for both Boys and Girls.
